Like Old Times

Christena and her cute kids came to visit us for a couple of days.

It wasn't nearly long enough, but it was so wonderful to see her and to watch Andrew and Esther play together. They were inseparable.

They talk a couple of times a month on the phone, so they picked their friendship right up. They are so much alike and there is no one Andrew plays with the same way he is able to play with Esther. She totally gets him. Andrew called her up a few weeks ago and asked her if they could name their first kid Yoda. She said she would have to think about it. She called back and said that their first son could be Yoda, but that their daughter would be Dorcas. She then named a few more daughters. Andrew said those names sounded fine, as long as their second son could be R2D2. I am very sad for my poor future grandkids, but hopefully their taste in names matures a little over the next 18 years. :)

Andrew had a hard time saying good bye (but not nearly as hard a time as I did). Andrew and I are already planning our trip to Alabama.

(Peggy was hanging out with her friends most of the time, so no pics of her, sorry Peggy. We love you!).

Esther said, "Why did we have to go? I don't want to leave Andrew!"
