Take Me Out to the Ball Game

We didn't get popcorn or cracker jacks, but our family had a wonderful time at the new Dash Stadium this weekend.  It was the first time that we had taken the kiddos to a ball game.  They had a great time!  The stadium is new and clean. The entertainment between each inning is fun and helps keep the kids' attention for 9 innings.  (We are hoping next time we can get our walking girl out on the field for the baby races).  We ate cotton candy,  shared a drink (which we kept running to the water fountain to refill), rode the carousel, and jumped in a bounce house in the Kids' Zone.  Molly and I even made it up on the big screen.  (Which I was thrilled about, seeing I was pretty sweaty and redfaced in the 100 degree heat).  But despite the heat, I am excited and ready to return soon.  They have these great Chick-fil-A nights that include your tickets, hats, and Chick-fil-A meal for less then the cost of a ticket on a normal night.

I remember when we took our family to a family night at the old stadium. Brin had just turned 1. It was like watching the game in a sauna, but fun none the less. The 2 olders got to go participate in a game on the field. The people around us were really friendly also. It was a fun night.
